The challenge
Medical coding is slow, manual and expensive. A clinician writes a note in plain English, and somebody then has to translate it into the right ICD-10, CPT and HCPCS codes before a claim can be filed. Get it wrong and the claim is rejected weeks later.
What we built
An AI coding engine
A pipeline that reads a clinical note and returns the ICD-10, CPT and HCPCS codes with the supporting text highlighted, so a human reviewer can confirm a code rather than hunt for it.
A claim scrubber
Checks the generated code set against payer rules before submission and flags the combinations that get claims denied.
Programmatic SEO pages
A page per code, generated from the dataset, so clinicians searching for a specific code land on the product. This is what drives organic sign-ups.
A path to mobile
The Next.js codebase and API were structured so a React Native app could reuse the same endpoints without a rewrite.
