Everyone needs to convert a HEIC or tidy some JSON. Almost every site that does it wants your file on their server first.
The challenge
The small jobs are the ones with the worst tools. Converting a photo off an iPhone, putting a few images into one PDF, checking whether a JSON payload is valid. Every search for those lands on a site that uploads the file to a server, wraps the result in adverts, and asks for an email before it will hand anything back.
That is a privacy problem as much as an annoyance. A contract, a medical form or an API response full of customer records should not be sitting on a stranger’s server because someone needed a file converted.
What we built
The work happens in the browser
Most tools convert, format and compare on the device itself, so the file is never uploaded and there is nothing to delete afterwards. It is also faster: no round trip, and no queue behind everyone else using the site.
Thirty-five tools, one place
Image conversion across HEIC, AVIF, WebP, PNG, JPG, GIF and BMP; images into PDF; QR codes for links, text and business cards; a JSON formatter, validator and converter to CSV, YAML and XML; XML formatting and validation; and a file comparison tool.
Free, with no account in the way
Every tool is usable without signing up, under a daily limit per tool. An account raises the limit; nothing is paywalled behind a trial that expires.
Built to be found
Each tool has its own page and its own name, because people search for “HEIC to JPG”, not for a toolkit. Category filters and search cover the rest once someone is on the site.
