App Privacy Policy — Offscreen Video Recording

1. What this policy covers

This policy applies to the Offscreen Video Recording Android app published by TeamJUH. It is separate from our website privacy policy, which covers teamjuh.com.

The app is a background recording tool: it captures video and audio, including while the screen is off, until you stop it or a storage or battery limit is reached.

2. The short version

Your recordings never leave your device. The app has no servers, no account, no analytics and no third-party SDKs, and we never receive a copy of anything you record.

3. What the app accesses

• Camera video and microphone audio: captured only while you have a recording running.
• Available storage space: read on your device so the app can warn you before you run out of space.

4. What the app does not collect

• No location data.
• No account, sign-in or personal details.
• No analytics, crash reporting or advertising identifiers.
• No network requests involving your recordings — the app has no backend.

5. Where recordings are stored

Recordings are saved in the app's private storage on your device. You can play, share or delete them at any time from the Recordings screen. Uninstalling the app deletes them. Sharing happens only when you choose a destination yourself through Android's share sheet, and the developer never receives a copy.

6. Permissions and why they are needed

• Camera and microphone: to record video and audio.
• Notifications: to display the "recording in progress" notice Android requires.
• Foreground service and wake lock: to keep recording with the screen off and stop the device sleeping mid-recording.

7. Your control over your data

Because recordings never leave your device, you control them directly. You can delete any recording in the app, remove everything by uninstalling, and revoke camera or microphone access at any time in your device settings — which stops recording.

8. Third parties

The app shares no data with TeamJUH or with any other party. It contains no third-party analytics, advertising or crash-reporting libraries.

9. Children's privacy

The app is not directed at children and does not knowingly collect data from anyone, as no data is transmitted off the device.

10. Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the new version will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date.
